HCYU’s Director of Commissioning and Construction Administration, Brian Green, has been selected by the Hampton Roads Green Building Council (HRGBC), to present the Learning Series Event: Commissioning and LEED Version 3 at the Virginia Air and Space Center in Hampton, VA, Tuesday November 16, 2010 from 12pm to 1pm. Brian will be exploring the requirements of LEED credits related to commissioning, outside air delivery, monitoring, and energy measurement and verification.

Cost is $25 for HRGBC members and $35 for non-members. Lunch will be provided.

HC Yu and Associates provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design services on several projects for Capital One in Richmond, Virginia. Projects included:

• Knolls 2 Main Computer Room Upgrade Including New PDUs and Panels
• New Computer Room with Two 500KVA UPS, 6-20 Ton CRAC Units, Battery Racks and PDUs
• Knolls 3 UPS/CRAC Commissioning
• New UPS and PDU in Main Computer Room at JRC2
• Relocation of Pillar UPS Including Supporting Batteries, Switchgear, and HVAC at JRC2
