The Senior Engineer acts as the team leader on multiple concurrent projects as assigned by an Engineering Department Head . He/she may oversee the entire design process or assist as a technical expert on a specialized design. The Senior Engineer has gained extensive experience in all areas of engineering design relevant to their discipline and demonstrates exceptional leadership ability.

• Electrical design of low and medium voltage power systems.
• Electrical design of interior and exterior lighting systems.
• Electrical design of auxiliary systems including fire alarm and security.
• Performs lighting, short circuit and load calculations.
• Coordinates design with mechanical systems and other disciplines.
• Performs quality control reviews of electrical plans and specifications.
• Writes reports and studies relevant to electrical systems.
• Assign and review work of project design team. Monitor progress of work and alert Project Manager to change of scope or additional services.
• Review of construction documents prior to final review by Engineer of Record.
• Promote use of and participate in development of company design and production standards.

• Minimum of 6 years industry experience.
• Electrical Professional Engineer’s license.
• Thorough knowledge of the NEC and other relevant codes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff and clients.
• Ability to take a project from concept through construction.
• Ability to effectively utilize productivity software such as MS Office and AutoCAD.

• Ability to develop presentations and assist with business development efforts.
• LEED certification.

• Prepare engineering studies and schematic design for new systems and analyze operation of existing systems.
• Prepare engineering analysis of projects to include: preliminary design, calculation, life cycle cost and equipment selection.
• Assign and review work of project design team. Monitor progress of work and alert Project Manager to change of scope or additional services.
• Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within company and externally with clients and other design professionals.
• Prepare or review budgets based on experience and scope of project.
• Promote use of and participate in development of company design and production standards.
• Review of construction documents prior to final review by Engineer of Record.
• Assist in the education and development of design staff and act as resource for design questions.
• Maintain neat and organized work area which allows efficient access to project information required by other team members.

• Minimum of 6 years industry experience.
• Mechanical Professional Engineer’s license.
• Ability to create mechanical designs and calculations for Air and Water Systems, Central Heating and Cooling Plants and Temperature controls.
• Thorough knowledge of BOCA and other relevant building codes.
• Ability to take a project from concept through construction.
• Ability to manage several engineers and designers on multiple tasks.
• Ability to effectively utilize productivity software such as MS Office and AutoCAD.

• Ability to develop presentations and assist with business development efforts.

Reporting to the Director of Plumbing, the Plumbing Designer is primarily responsible for providing designs and calculations for Plumbing systems for a variety of commercial building types. The Plumbing Designer works under the direction of a Senior Plumbing Designer.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial plumbing system design
• Ability to complete assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with design and calculation of hydraulic systems.

• EIT
• CIPE or CPD certification
• Experience with transportation, healthcare, laboratory projects
• Knowledge of medical gases, piping and healthcare systems
• Experience with AutoDesk Building Systems or Revit MEP
• Previous experience with an Engineering Consulting firm.

Reporting to the Director of Project Management, our Project Managers are responsible for the planning, monitoring, and execution of projects from proposal through construction administration. They are leaders within the firm and manage the communication between design team and client.

• Basic knowledge of buildings and building systems, which include architectural, mechanical, electrical, telecommunication, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Two to five year degree in engineering, business, facilities management, project management or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Demonstrate solid critical, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a diverse team to meet projects requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – must be able to write professional correspondence, prepare and make customer presentations and document project occurrences appropriately.
• Successful candidates will demonstrate solid leadership abilities and exceptional communication skills.

Two to five year degree in engineering, business, facilities management, project management or equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred.

• Previous experience generating engineering labor estimates
• Ability to manage a project from concept through construction
• Project management experience in the A/E field

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Marketing Coordinator is a highly motivated, organized and detail oriented person who is able to handle multiple tasks at any given time. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: the coordination and preparation of RFP and RFQ's, interview preparation, ad design and production, website maintenance, preparation of custom qualification packages, project information sheets, resumes and project database, as well as other miscellaneous marketing department tasks.

• Fielding incoming potential project requests
• Updating marketing brochures, materials
• Compiling marketing porfolios/brochures for perspective clients
• Coordinating RFP/RFQ submissions
• Managing marketing database
• Responding to PR related issues
• Managing website postings
• Maintain neat and organized work area which allows efficient access to marketing information
