Innsbrook I & II Operations Center

HC Yu and Associates provided the Fast-Track Design MEP/FP Engineering Design and Commissioning Services for the renovation of the Capital One Operations Center. The Operations Center consists of two adjoining office buildings, totaling 180,000 SF, with a common mechanical and electrical plant.

Engineering design services include refurbishing two existing centrifugal chillers and two Buffalo Rooftop AHUs. The facility features a new MultiStack Heat recovery Chiller, new Sprinkler system and FM200 system for the Data Center. The new Operations Center was designed to achieve a 2 Green Globes® Certification.

The HCYU Commissioning Team acting as a separate third party of the Design team to Commission the Innsbrook Operation Center. The first Commissioning phase focused on the Data and Communications Center verifying all associated systems, while the building was still under construction. One of the two linked central plants was commissioned and brought online early, before the other plant was completely installed. Phase two targeted the remaining portion of the buildings including many anti-terrorism, standby and mission critical systems.
